The Grand Earl Hotel in Douliu exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful, making check-in a breeze. I was lucky to receive a free upgrade to a spacious, clean, and comfortable room. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, satisfying all tastes. The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and surrounded by convenient amenities. The rooftop bar was a highlight, with great drinks, friendly staff, and stunning views. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Pos , My recent stay at a hotel in the heart of a bustling city was an unforgettable experience. the location of the hotel was ideal , just a short walk from the train station and plenty of food options around. the spacious room with a view of the roundabout was a treat. the bathroom was modern with all the essential amenities. the staff was always helpful and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. the breakfast served was satisfactory with the fantastic view from the top floor adding an extra charm. the coin, operated laundry facilities were convenient.
Neg , the parking situation was inconvenient around the hotel.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Its location is super convenient, located right in the heart of the city center and within a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel facilities are great, with a coin laundromat and a top floor breakfast area that offers a breathtaking view of the city and the mountains. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and even wished me a happy birthday upon check-in. Room service was fast and the rooftop bar was a fun place to hang out and enjoy some drinks.

The breakfast was enjoyable enough and varied. There were western and Chinese options to select from, including toast, congee, mantou, and some veggies. The cozy rooms were equipped with a mini-fridge and safe to make use of. the hotel was centrally located and conveniently situated close to popular fast food chains and convenience stores.
The room I stayed in had an awful smell from the carpets. Maybe they were old, but I found it hard to bear and it made my stay unpleasant.

During my New Year stay, I appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, as it was surrounded by various stores and dining options. the room was surprisingly spacious and clean, which added to the enjoyment of my stay. the staff was also friendly and assisted me with any questions I had.
the noise level from neighboring rooms was excessive and disturbed my sleep, preventing me from getting the rest I needed.
